Religion and ethics

NSW public schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.

During enrolment, you can choose a special religious education option for your child from the school’s available approved providers. You can withdraw your child from special religious education by selecting alternative meaningful activities, or special education in ethics if it’s available.

You can update your preference by writing to the school or through the online form available at participating schools.

Cardiff Public School SRE lessons are held between 12:00-12:30pm on Wednesday each week. The program is delivered by the following approved providers: Baptist Union of NSW Presbyterian Church of Australia Roman Catholic Church They provide two scripture options including Catholic Scripture and Christian Scripture. Lessons are derived from the following curriculums: Godspace & Light and Life For more information visit: https://godspace.org.au https://ccd.sydneycatholic.org/book-orders/christ-our-light-and-life/ SEE (Ethics): Primary Ethics are our local provider; however, we currently do not have any SEE teachers available to deliver the program at our school.
