Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Cardiff Public School P&C

The Cardiff Public School Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) is a group of parents, carers, and community members committed to supporting our students, staff, and school. With the help of our elected executive, coordinators, and volunteers, we contribute time and energy to provide services, resources, and opportunities that benefit the whole school community.

What We Do

The P&C plays an active role in school life by fundraising for important resources and programs that directly support student learning and wellbeing. We also manage the canteen and uniform shop, making it easier for families to access these services. Beyond this, we organise community events that bring families together and foster a strong sense of belonging. Working in partnership with school staff, we also provide feedback and input on initiatives, helping create the best possible learning environment for our children.

Canteen Information

Our school canteen is run by volunteers and provides healthy and affordable meals for students. Our current menu can be found here: https://cardiffpspc.square.site/canteen

The canteen operates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday during lunch time only.

Orders can be placed through the Spriggy Schools app. making it easy for families to manage lunch orders online. Healthy food choices are a priority, and we aim to provide options that are both nutritious and appealing to students. If you’d prefer to pay by cash, orders can be placed over the counter before 9am.

Volunteers are always welcome to help out in the canteen, and if you are interested in joining the roster, please get in touch.

Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop provides families with affordable school uniforms and helps ensure all students feel a part of our school community.

Uniforms can be purchased online through Spriggy Schools or in person at the Uniform Shop, which is located on the school grounds. This makes it easy for parents to choose whichever option suits them best. Cash and EFTPOS facilities are available. The shop is open on Friday mornings between 8.30am and 9.15am.

P&C Meeting Information

Meetings are held 6pm on Monday of Weeks 3 and 6 in the school meeting room. These meetings provide an opportunity to hear about upcoming projects, share ideas, and contribute to decisions that impact our school. All parents and carers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
